Winner of the 'BBC Voice of Musical Theatre', Aimie has starred in many shows including the role of Penny Lane in 'Carnaby Street', playing Shelby Stevens to rave reviews in 'Steel Pier' at the Union Theatre, Chloe in the Take That Musical 'Never Forget' UK Tour , Luisa in 'Zorro the Musical' and most recently Elizabeth in the hugely acclaimed sell-out tour of 'Dirty Dancing'. 

Aimie has also played Amber in 'Legacy Falls' at the Charring Cross Theatre, Dorothy in 'The Wizard of Oz'  Brighton Theatre Royal. 'An Evening of Dirty Dancing' UK Tour, Sofia in Howard Goodhall's 'Days of Hope' at the Kings Head Theatre, Kim in 'Axe the Musical' Roundhouse Camden and Versuvio Vasace in 'Eurobeat' and Polly Pry in 'Cannibal the Musical' both at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Aimie has been a part of many workshops including 'Legacy Falls', 'Blockbuster' directed Paul Nicholas, the new Kinks musical 'Sunny Afternoon' and 'MoonShadow' - the Cat Stevens musical. 

Concert work includes Killer Queen in a 'Day at the Races', 'The Great British Musical', 'Sondheim 70th Birthday Celebration' and the 'WhatsOnStage Awards'. Aimie has starred as 'Snow White' at the New Wimbledon Theatre alongside Ross Kemp and New Victoria Woking and also played 'Cinderella' at the Nottingham Theatre Royal.

Recording work includes Principle Soloist in 'Touch of Venus', 'Postman and the Poet' and 'Simply Musicals' album where she recorded Defying Gravity and Out Tonight all for Jay Records.

TV/Film Credits includes American Express Commercial, Kate - (Short Film) Roulette Lottie (Feature) Kedz, Snow White I-dents - Christmas Special - GMTV Snow White Documentary 'Seven Dwarfs' Channel 4, 'The Michael ball Show', 'Britain's Got Talent', 'Search for a Musical Theatre Performer - Aimie Atkinson Voice of Musical Theatre' documentary.
